Terry Burman has been Chief Executive Officer of Signet Jewelers Limited (alternate name Signet Group PLC) since March 2000. 

Mr. Burman served as Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Jewelers, Inc., a US division of Signet from 1995 to January 2006. Before joining Signet Group, Mr. Burman held various senior executive positions of increasing responsibility with Barry's Jewelers, Inc. from 1980 to 1995, including President and Chief Executive Officer from 1993 to 1995. He also served as President of Barry's Jewelers, Inc., since 1982. He was a Partner of Roberts Department Stores. Mr. Burman has been Chairman of the Board of Sterling Jewelers, Inc., a US division of Signet since 1995. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Signet US Holdings, Inc., a subsidiary of Signet Jewelers Limited. He serves as Vice Chairman of Jewelers of America. Mr. Burman has been a Director of Signet Jewelers Limited since 1996, Yankee Holding Corp. since October 2007 and Caesar's World, Inc. since December 1987. 

Mr. Burman has indicated his intention to retire on January 29, 2011.
